Congratulations for choosing your new Toy Poodle or Miniature Poodle pup and making them part of your family! Please remember when you take your new Toy Poodle or Miniature Poodle puppy home EVERYTHING will be new - including the taste of your water!  It can take up to 2 weeks for your new Toy Poodle or Miniature Poodle puppy to fully adapt to their new home. So please, be patient, loving and kind as your new Toy Poodle or Miniature Poodle puppy adjusts to your family and home. Kind, firm, consistent discipline goes a long way

Some helpful hints include:

• consider boiling hamburger and rice together this will help settle the puppy's stomach.

• continue to free feed the same brand name of food, slowly mixing in your choice of good quality dog food.

• sometimes you need to use the same style of dish that we do, we use small size washable dog dishes with low sides.

• provide the Toy Poodle or Miniature Poodle puppy a 'safe place' to call their own, such as a kennel/dog bed where they can rest undisturbed.

• once they are used to your household routine house training should be relatively easy.

• consider enrolling in puppy training classes if you so wish
